Nicknamed "Moccasin," the par-4 16th is the toughest hole on the Copperhead Course and consistently ranks among the most difficult holes during the PGA TOUR's Valspar Championship. It's where the Snake Pit truly begins, and where momentum can shift in an instant.

From the tee, golfers face an intimidating dogleg right that wraps around a water hazard, forcing players to choose between a conservative approach or a more aggressive line. Trees tighten the landing area, leaving little room for error. Even after finding the fairway, the challenge isn't over. A long approach shot into a well-protected green requires focus from start to finish.

Known as "The Rattler," the par-3 17th demands one of the most precise shots on the Copperhead Course, where accuracy matters more than power.

Playing as one of the longer par 3s on the course, the 17th requires careful club selection and a confident swing. The green is protected by strategically placed bunkers, while challenging pin locations can make an already demanding shot even more difficult.
