My husband and I visited Innisbrook for our 10th wedding Anniversary in April. As we drove in we were impressed by the gardens and lushness of the landscape. Entering the lobby to check in, we were welcomed with open arms and absolutely awesome customer service which continued throughout our entire 5 day stay. Truly exceptional customer service at every single turn. We loved the food in all the establishments. LOVED Packards steak house (exceptional service, wine menu and food) and dining on the deck fireside with live music at the main clubhouse and restaurant. The spa is high quality and elegant. I loved my massage and facial. I want to come visit again with all my girl friends for a spa and relaxation get away. It was one of the nicest vacations I have ever spent.

Our room was simply beautiful and immaculate. The grounds are landscaped like a paradise. The golf courses were pristine and green yet not too Southern Feeling. They felt like northern courses with tropical beauty. We loved the food and outdoor entertainment up at the lounge and restaurant. We enjoyed eating breakfast overlooking the gorgeous greens. My husband and his golf friends said all the courses were beautifully maintained and challenging. There are several swimming pools to select from. There is one that has a water slide and waterfall and mini beach… The fitness center is well equipped with classy touches like coffee in the a.m. and cold water. The spa is high quality and elegant. I loved my massage and facial. I want to come visit again with all my girl friends for a spa and relaxation get away. It was one of the nicest vacations I have ever spent.

Very nice resort. Our accommodation was a king suite, living room, dining are, kitchen and bedroom with king bed, patio. Fully equipped unit. Very clean and decorated nicely. Arrival was pleasant, staff very welcoming and professional, we arrived early and were able to check in. Our spa appointments were wonderful, all the staff was friendly and professional as well. Had tee time at South Course and pro shop staff was accommodating and made you feel special. Also had tee time on our last day at Copperhead Course and again were treated special. Overall a great experience and look forward to a return visit!

Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort

Sunday, January 04, 2015 9:00 PM - Stephen Travels
The sun disappeared at 5:38 p.m. in a spectacular show of fiery colors while I was sitting in traffic on the W. Courtney Campbell Causeway out of Tampa. By the time I arrived at the welcome gate to my accommodations, complete darkness had descended. Following the guard’s directions and the map he provided along dimly lit roads, I reached one of Innisbrook's three clubhouses and checked in.

Planning a buddies trip? The Snake Pit at Innisbrook Resort

Tuesday, December 30, 2014 9:00 PM -
The Innisbrook Resort near Tampa is one of those places that can sometimes get lost in the shuffle. With resorts like Sawgrass, Doral, Streamsong, and a slew of others filling the landscape of Florida golf destinations, standing out in the crowd is no easy task. Even Innisbrook’s Tour stop — the Valspar Championship — is somewhat overshadowed thanks to being sandwiched between two titans of the game: The Donald (as in Trump) and The King (as in Arnie).

A few years ago, Sheila Jackson and Salamander Resorts wanted to make a big splash in Florida as well as the golf industry. To further strengthen their position in Florida, Salamander also purchased Innisbrook Golf Resort; an all-inclusive golf resort where all you have to worry about is your golf game.

Driving for dough in Florida's golf resort industry

Friday, September 26, 2014 6:36 AM - Florida Trend
Sheila Johnson’s big move into Florida’s golf resort industry began with a cold call. A broker called the co-founder of Black Entertainment Television to gauge her interest in buying one of Florida’s best-known golf retreats, the struggling Innisbrook Resort near Tampa. “I had no intention of getting into the golf business,” Johnson says. She bought the resort nonetheless and quickly moved to revitalize the 900-acre property.
