Innisbrook CARES
Innisbrook’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Innisbrook CARES, consists of volunteerism, donation of services and products, and the promotion of green initiatives. Our Service Professionals are the driving force behind this very important program.
Innisbrook CARES!
- Committed – We are committed to being an organization in which conserving, caring, and contributing to the surrounding community is one of our basic tenets.
- Active – We take action!
- Responsible – We take responsibility for our role in the community as an employer, a corporate partner, and a neighbor.
- Educated – We educate our Service Professionals about Corporate Social Responsibility and what we are trying to achieve. We provide educational opportunities for our members, guests, and the public regarding both charitable and green initiatives.
- Sustainable - We have sustainable programs and practices.
Together We Have:
- Earned our Florida Green Lodging Certification
- Received the Preferred Hotel Group’s 2009 Pineapple Award for overall leadership in philanthropy, community service, and environmental initiatives
- Collected over 150 pairs of shoes, 120 backpacks filled with school supplies, 20 boxes of school supplies, over 70 pints of blood, over 100 toys, 300 food drive items, and registered almost 20 people for the national Be The Match bone marrow registry
- Participated in fundraisers for American Heart Association, Junior Achievement, and the Children’s Cancer Center
- Recycled over 15 tons of electronics through two e-cycle drives and the green practices of our IT and Engineering departments
- Recycled over 100 tons of glass, tin, aluminum, plastic, and cardboard
